Data privacy policy


Ansorg GmbH takes the protection of your personal data very seriously. The following data privacy policy provides information about the personal data which is collected whenever a person uses our website and how we process, use and protect such data.

1. Scope

1.1 Use of the www.ansorg.com website is subject to the following data privacy policy. This website is provided by Ansorg GmbH, Pilgerstraße 11, 45473 Mülheim an der Ruhr (hereinafter referred to as “Ansorg”) as a responsible person within the meaning of Art. 4 of the Basic EU Data Protection Regulation ("GDPR").

1.2 It is important for us that your personal data are protected and that, in particular, your right to personal privacy is safeguarded whenever your personal data are processed and used. The term personal data refers to information regarding the personal and/or factual circumstances of a specific or specifiable natural person including the person’s name, postal address, e-mail address and/or telephone number and user data such as the IP address. We collect, process, and use your personal data in compliance with the relevant laws. 

2. Automated data collection and processing by the browser

2.1 As is the case with all Internet sites, our server automatically collects and temporarily stores the following data in server log files which, unless you have disabled this function, are sent to the server by the browser:

    • IP address of the requesting computer
    • File request from the client
    • The http response code
    • The website from which you are visiting us (referrer URL)
    • Date and time of the server request
    • Type, version and language of your browser 
    • The operating system used by the requesting computer

No person-related evaluation is made of server log files. This data cannot be ascribed to particular persons by the provider at any time. The data is not consolidated with other data sources.

2.2 This website uses Google Analytics, a Web analysis service provided by Google Inc. (“Google”). Google Analytics uses small text files called cookies which are saved on your computer to facilitate analysis of your website use. The information collected relates to your operating system, browser and IP address, the website you accessed previously (referrer URL), and the date and time of your visit to our website. The information about the way you use this website created by the cookie is usually sent to and stored on a Google server in the USA. If IP anonymisation is activated on this website, Google will first truncate your IP address in Member States of the European Union or in other state parties to the Agreement on the European Economic Area. Only in exceptional cases will the full IP address be sent to and truncated on a Google server in the USA. Google uses this information on behalf of the website operator to evaluate the way you use the website, to collate reports on website activities and to provide the website operator other services related to website and Internet use. The IP address sent by your browser as part of Google Analytics is not combined with other data held by Google.  

You can change your browser settings to prevent cookies from being stored; however, we draw your attention to the fact that, in these circumstances, you may find that you are unable to make full use of functions on the website. You can also prevent the data (including your IP address) relating to your use of the website which is captured by the cookie being sent to or processed by Google by downloading and installing the browser plug-in

We use Google Analytics to analyse and regularly improve the use of our website. We can improve our offer and make it more interesting for you as a user. For the exceptional cases in which personal data is transferred to the USA, Google has submitted to the EU-US Privacy Shield, https://www.privacyshield.gov/EU-US-Framework. The legal basis for the use of Google Analytics is Art. 6 Par. 1 S. 1 lit. f GDPR.

3. Collection and processing of data voluntarily provided by the user

3.1 Any personal data communicated to us by email or via our website at www.ansorg.com will generally be done so on a voluntary basis. Any such data is used to process your inquiries, to conduct our own market or opinion research, and for our own postal advertising. Your data will only be used to send you advertising by email if you have given us permission to do so. The legal basis is Art. 6 para. 1 lit. b) GDPR or Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f) GDPR.

3.2 If you would like to contact us using the contact form, we will need to know how to address you, your name, your country of origin and your email address. It would be easier for us to contact you if you volunteer further personal data to us.

If you want to subscribe to our newsletter, please provide your valid e-mail address and your country of origin and confirm that you are in agreement with the following:

“I agree that Ansorg, companies in the Vitra Group and Vizona may process and use the data I have provided for the purpose of sending me and contacting me by e-mail, telephone, newsletters, etc. to inform me about products, references as well as about Ansorg/Vitra/Vizona Companies’ current campaigns and events.

I can revoke this agreement at any time by writing to Ansorg GmbH, Pilgerstraße 11, 45473 Mülheim an der Ruhr, or by sending an email to marketing@ansorg.com. As soon as I revoke such agreement, the data I provided will be deleted from all mentioned companies’ systems and no longer will be used to send me the newsletter

The only mandatory information for sending the newsletter is your e-mail address. The indication of further, separately marked data is voluntary and is used to be able to address you personally. After your confirmation we will save your data for the purpose of sending you the newsletter (legal basis is Art. 6 Par. 1 S. 1 lit. a GDPR).

We use the so-called double opt-in procedure to ensure that newsletters are sent out in agreement. In the course of this, the potential recipient can be included in a distribution list. Subsequently, the user receives the opportunity to confirm the registration in a legally secure manner by means of a confirmation e-mail. The address is only actively included in the distribution list if it is confirmed. We use these data exclusively for the dispatch of the requested information and offers. Maileon is used as newsletter software. Your data will be transmitted to Tripicchio AG. Tripicchio AG is prohibited from selling your data and using it for purposes other than sending newsletters. Tripicchio AG is a German, certified provider selected according to the requirements of Art. 28 GDPR.

3.3  We provide you with a contact form on the ansorg.com website. When using the contact form, we collect your salutation, your name, your e-mail address and your home country in addition to your message. You can only use the contact form if you provide the following declaration of consent:

I agree to the data I have provided being collected and saved electronically as described in the Data Protection Statement. My personal data will be used only to respond to my inquiries. I understand that I can revoke this agreement at any time by mail or e-mail sent to the address indicated in the Data Protection Statement.

If you would like us to contact you by telephone or by mail, please provide your telephone number and postal address. Provision of this data is voluntary. Your data will be transmitted exclusively in an encoded manner to prevent access by third parties. We will save and use your data only to process your request for contact. (Legal basis is Art. 6 para. 1 sentence 1 lit. a GDPR)

3.4 Personal data provided to us via our website will be saved only for the time it takes us to meet the purpose for which you provided such data. When your contract has been fulfilled completely, your data will be blocked and then deleted in accordance with the relevant tax and trade regulations unless you have given your express consent to such data being used for other purposes. To the extent mandatory trade and tax retention periods need to be observed, the retention period for some types of data can be up to ten years.

4. Subcontractors 

We will not disclose to third parties any personal data you have provided to us. Such data will only be passed on

    • with your permission;
    • to subcontractors for the purpose of dealing with your inquiries, your orders and the use of our services; such subcontractors may only receive or use the data required for the purpose of performing this order;
    • to service providers bound by instructions if required to process your order data in accordance with the law;
    • to authorised recipients in compliance with legal obligations.

5. Cookies 

This website uses cookies. Cookies are small text files that are stored locally in your Web browser cache. Cookies are used in particular to recognise your Web browser when you return to the site. Cookies are used to control sessions and for statistical evaluation purposes. Cookies do not contain any personal data.

You can change your browser settings to refuse any cookies or to delete any already on your hard disk. To do this please follow the instructions in your browser which tell you how to block or delete cookies. Please note that you may have to change the settings on all the browsers that you use to access this website and that, by disabling cookies, you may not be able to use all the functions this website provides.

6. Your rights

You have the right to demand from us information about the data we have stored on you at any time, its origin, the recipients or categories of recipients and the purpose of its storage. By law you also have the right to have your personal data corrected, blocked and deleted.

You may revoke any permission you have given us to use your personal data at any time without having to give reasons. If the processing of your data is based on legitimate interests pursuant to Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR, you have a right of objection pursuant to Art. 21 DGPR. You also have the right to data transferability. You also have the right to complain to a data protection supervisory authority about our processing of your personal data.
