The Rhein-Galerie shopping centre, Ludwigshafen

Water as a luminous source of inspiration

Jointly with ECE, Hamburg, Ansorg has succeeded in creating a lighting conception that is coherent and underscores the special nature of the centre.

The location is unique in the region: the shopping centre, which was opened in September 2010, is situated directly by the former customs harbour with access to and with a balcony view overlooking the Rhine. Parallel to this, the embankment promenade has been redesigned and in front of the Rhine Galerie a public square with an urban look has been constructed. With this new address, Ludwigshafen provides an appealing attraction that is a real crowd puller.
